The Middle Ages gave to posterity, as well as an endless array of battles and events, artwork and intellectual, religious and political balance, but many traditions still exist today.

In fact there were forms of pilgrimage in the Holy Land from the earliest centuries of Christianity, but only after
the thousands who began the great pilgrimages in Europe.

A travel were all: rich and poor, secular and religious, for reasons of faith or of commerce. Most were moving on foot, thus creating stable travel roads that connected Italy with northern Europe, whose streets were part of all the pilgrims to the major pilgrimage centers: Rome, the Holy Land, Santiago de Compostela.

trips were long, slow and laborious, it happened so that the pilgrims along the way or during breaks, we support each other by telling stories and legends.

were mostly short stories inspired by the places visited and the saints to which it was proceeding, in which anecdotes are colorful Christian spirituality and mingled with the popular imagination of the time.

Starting from the testimonies of the time (the manuscripts of medieval pilgrims, the news and stories by various authors of the XII - XIII century, including in particular Gonzalo De Berceo, with his "The Pilgrim of Santiago" ) narrates the show and reconstructs a hypothetical stages and customs of medieval pilgrimage from Rome to Santiago de Compostela.

giullaressa telling stories is one that, on the journey by himself, lives step by step along the journey through ViaFrancigena, Podense Way and the Way of Santiago, through Italy, France and Spain.

A pilgrimage of the soul that alternates between historic paintings, traditional customs, funny episodes, spiritual stories, songs and grammelot, in a unique experience that grows with each step until the arrival of the sacred coveted goal.
